What is custom template and how does it work?

Jimdo creator has an option to use a custom template ( Design> Custom Template). Instead of default Jimdo template, you'll have a Matrix theme installed on your own website based on individual design.

Do I have to know coding to edit the Matrix theme?

No,  you'll have all tools and features included in default Jimdo template + additional widgets and options to make your website modern and professional.

How to use custom widgets in Matrix themes and page builder?

In admin menu you'll find a section 'shortcodes' with more than 30 different widgets. You select a widget by clicking the copy button and paste it to your website inside Widget/HTML.

What is multilingual theme?

The multilingual template uses a standard Jimdo navigation in three different positions within the custom layout. The first level is exclusively for language selection. The second level is used for the main navigation, and the third level is reserved for submenus.

The templates that support onepager feature

The templates that support the one-pager feature are the multipurpose templates. You can use any of these templates with the one-pager feature. The detailed instructions for implementing this feature can be found in the documentation section of the admin menu.

The templates with megamenu

The templates with a megamenu feature are exclusively available in the multipurpose themes.

How do I get the latest updates of the page builder and Matrix themes?

At any time you can download the latest release of the page builder from the following page , while the Matrix themes updates are available in admin menu sections 'Updates'.
